I put about two drops of absinthe on the inside of my lip, as in it never really even made it into my mouth, and everything was fumes and watery eyes. I am a wimp. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
I lost a game of Scrabble tonight, even after resorting to playing a phony that I was fairly sure was a phony, for 50+ points (played N,E and S through XU to form NEXUS and COFTS* with the S on the double word score). Bad Scrabble karma.
Kids return to campus tomorrow, classes start Wednesday. Good times.
