bringing closure to earlier list

So aside from this list over here, the other events of this weekend were equally fulfilling

-tried to knit in car, got really dizzy and had to take dramamine
-groceries: milk, yogurt, tortillas, lettuce, olive oil spray, onions, hot dogs, pilsbury crescent rolls
-book fair at bookstore: minimalist cooking (bittman); something by james beard; a book of fiction about a love story in the rochelle area of nyc
-spun 150 yds of 2ply merino in bright colors while lotr played in the background
-resisted the urge to persecute the boy while he napped
-made and ate tacos for lunch
-made and ate black bean cakes, zucchini cakes, asparagus, and bacon-wrapped dates for dinner
-baked chocolate chip cookies
-watched 1.5 lord of the rings movies
-formulated basic plan for wooly goodness next weekend
-wandered around harvard square and even found street parking
-had soul-warming, incredibly satisfying pho for lunch, followed by tea
-worked another few inches on tim's scarf
-decided that i must start a faculty/staff/grad student knitting group

it's called "a thing (or two) about curtis and camilla" by nick fowler. it's an "irresistibly melodic debut novel about love in lower Manhattan resonantes like a perfect pop song," according to the LA Times.

and why isnt' lviejournal emailing me my comments right now? grr.
