musical maintenance

kismet09Tim's parents got him a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen mp3 player for xmas. I hope that his behaves better than mine does and doesn't feel the need to rebuild the library every time he turns it on. Pesky critter.
I have successfully copied all of my mp3s on to the external drive, for a total of about 40 gigs of music. Now I just have to pull stuff off of the laptop, and everything that's already computerized will be in place. Then, it's back to copying from CDs. I had only made it to the Ds in my alphabetized CD collection - I'm a little afraid that I could, in fact, fill my 120 gig hard drive. I've become a little more selective in what CDs to pull completely, and from which to just pick the tracks I really like. I also ran out of room for CDs and DVDs on my five Benno towers, so we took a quick field trip to Ikea yesterday (oh, how I love that it's a mile from my house) and bought another one, and then moved my soundtracks to the DVD Bennos to make room for more music. It's all very exciting.
My knee is still angry, so I guess I'm headed to the doctor in the not-too-distant future. Boo.
