Safely Home

We had a great time in Ireland, and got back in last night. In Ireland, it is 10:30am, which is probably why I'm wide awake. I was well-behaved and journalled the whole trip in my travel journal, but I don't think I'll get around to typing 20 hand-written pages into this journal, so I'll get some highlights down soon, and pictures up as well. What a great mini-break, and if you ever plan to go to Dublin, I definitely recommend going in low tourist season -- I can't imagine how ridiculous it would've been had it been even more crowded.

Glad you had a great time. Ireland is definitely on the list of places I'd like to see someday!

(BTW, I'm almost finished with Christie's afghan, so yours will be next!)

it was amazing! i want to go back and see the western half some time -- galway, connemara, etc.

hoorah on the afghan! hopefully i can afford the yarn by then. repaying ireland debt is going to take a bit of creative budgeting.

Well, the afghan will take at least a month (possibly more with holiday madness coming up), but if that's not enough time, you can pay me whenever -- unless I suddenly become unemployed (which hopefully won't happen!), I'm not hurting for the money. Or if you'd prefer I can bump you down the queue -- Persephone and Jennie are after you and I can start one of theirs first.

Either way, I expect to finish my current one within the next week, so I'll need a new project soon! :)

By January, I will be good with the money, so that should work. I just got a new Lion Brand catalog in the mail, so I'll have to browse the colors!
