Work out update:

Pants fit me again that were getting hard to button up.

I benched two sets of the bar, a set at 55 lbs (bar plus 10) and did two sets of inclines with the bar. Rawr. Plus my usual bicep stuff, and some leg curls while I was lying on the bench and letting my arms rest. I even did 50 crunches for good measure. They made my back hurt a little, which means I'm probably doing it wrong. Even with my 45 degree spinal bend, crunches aren't supposed to hurt. Now if only I could find a way to do my ellipse machine without getting mind-numbingly bored.

I am cutting back on my caffeine and adding calcium by drinking 1/2 cold coffee and 1/2 chocolate milk instead of just coffee in the morning. The weather is more conducive to cold drinks now, and I appreciate that. I have been reasonably good about food, and have even cut down my white rice consumption to about 2 cups per week.

Oh! and my hair is long enough for the first time since the wedding (i.e., 2 2/3ish years ago) to pull into a ponytail! Okay, maybe a miniature horse-tail, little as it is, but still! It's kinda fun. Maybe I'll leave it shoulder length and add a bunch of long layers this summer. I cut it extra-short last summer.
